Who am I?
I’m Lara, a multilingual language professional fluent in Spanish, English, French with Arabic and Danish in progress.
Starting as a humble teacher in 2017, I am dedicated to building a bridge between cultures through language education and translation.
Today, I am an online teacher in Spanish, English & French. I work as a pedagogue assistant at an international nursery in my hometown in Denmark and enjoy Danish learning at university.
And this is my companion: E-kea, the Kea!
How did I start?
Graduated from my Bachelor’s Degree in Translation from Granada (Spain), I taught later on Spanish in Reunion Island (France) and English in Spain.
In between jobs, I worked as Customer Service Representative talking to people from Canada, the United Kingdom and France. I continued my journey as Spanish & French teacher in York (England).
Finally, I settled down in the hyggelige Aarhus (Denmark) to complete my Master's in Intercultural Studies.
Why do I do this?
I thrill when my students advance in their career, business, or certifications. It is extremely rewarding when that bulb lights up in their minds with a grammar puzzle and idioms and cultivates their confidence.
Everyday is a new learning experience and I am passionate about sharing it!
Fun facts about me!
I love reading! Fan of Harry Potter and many others, I have read it in three languages! I always have a book at hand to recharge from a busy day.
I am a Lindy Hopper! Feel the rhythm of swing music and I can’t stop my feet. It is such a fantastic energy boost!
Movies and series nerd! From Friends to Game of Thrones, I can have endless debates with students about their opinions and likes. We always have the most interesting conversations!
